  1. This trimmer is a nice product. For the most part it is superior to every electric shaver/trimmer I have ever owned. I received this one for Christmas and so far I’m pleased with it. It comes with nice durable trimming guides. (some other companies products provide flimsy crappy ones that break the second time you change them.) So far I use the trimmer maybe twice a week and I have only charged it once since December 26th so that should tell you something about the battery life. The trimmer itself fits nicely in your hand and is even quieter than my old one. (not that it matters) If you grow a beard or mustache or any form of facial hair do yourself a favor and purchase one of the Wahl products! This keeps your goatee or beard from getting too long and nasty. There is even some free lubricating oil included which they recommend you apply once a month. The only drawback I found about this product was that the trimmer is somewhat difficult to remove from the cheap plastic stand, and the stand is the one and only negative about this product. It takes up too much room on the sink for my taste, but you could consider just leaving the trimmer laying by itself that might work better. Overall I really liked this product.

  2. Purchased this recently and wish I hadn’t. My old Philips Norelco rechargeable was not holding a charge well, and this item popped up as a Gold Box deal.

The Wahl appears to provide a wide range of trim-length options, with a multi-set comb attachment and several single-length comb attachments.

Unfortunately for me the multi-set attachment is useless because the shortest setting is longer than I prefer. I like the facial hair short- not stubble, mind you, but short.

So it was on to the individual combs- length acceptable, but hair pulling- not. The combs seem somewhat crudely formed, and very pointed, instead of having the points rounded. So pokes were frequent. Also, I’m not sure if it was the clipper or the join between comb and clipper, but I get frequent “plucks” instead of cuts- ouch!

Lastly, the lack of the vacuum feature is a downside for me, as well. I was spoiled by the Philips Norelco trimmer, and it’s lack of messy aftermath.

    A VERY GOOD TRIMMER
I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS TRIMMER, IT TRIMS MY BEARD AND MUSTACHE VERY WELL.

  4. Initially, I bought the trimmer on a whim, I had been using my cordless clippers to trim my beard,as well as my hair. But after it arrived(in a timely manner),I was blown away by its power and ease of use. It is also smaller than my cordless clippers and I can trim and groom with ablomb! I’ve had it for about 2 months now and after its initial charge, Its still going strong. I love this trimmer and highly recommend it!

Great trimmer for the price…perfect for a goatee.
This does exactly what I need for my first goatee. The blades cut without any pulling. The attachments are really easy to put on or take off.
