My husband wanted a new trimmer, and this was the only one we could travel with easily. He has to use it in other countries often and this one converts easily. He finds it a little dull, compared to others he has used over the years. He has to make several passes to get the same amount of trimming (he tells me). But he does like the fact that it is more compact and light weight than his old one. He wanted one that vacuums the hair as he uses it, but those were quite a lot heavier and bulkier, so he settled on this. From my perspective, he still looks handsome and well groomed, so I give it a high rating.

It’s a great piece of electronics, but the depth control is way too coarse, especially for a relatively close shave and the design of the guard is so smooth that the hair does not get a chance to reach the cutting head (compared to the ribs and grooves on the guard of my old Norelco device). I might have to try and fix that with a file . As is, this item is not good for short facial hair.

I bought this after reading the reviews, but it isn’t worth anything unless you take the guard off. Even on the shortest setting, very little hair is actually trimmed off.

The Wahl trimmer I own is 100% better The recharge system is junk. I would return If I still had the packaging materials.
